The Fulton Hornets travelled to Marshall on Thursday night and made a strong statement that they intend to be a contender for the conference title with a 3-1 win. Jake Pierce scored twice and Zach Thomas added another. Sam Mayne did well to secure the win.
In the jv game, the Hornets prevailed 1-0 on a goal from Cody Pae.
