First, an update on the high school soccer field. Director of Maintenance, Tim Echelmeier, has been hard at work renovating the field. The field has been tilled and soil amendments brought in to restore the soil to health. In addition, some of the low lying areas were leveled. Today the field was reseeded with a cool-season grass. An additional layer of sand/soil will be spread tomorrow to lightly cover the seed. With good weather, we should have germination in a couple of weeks.
Second, greetings to our international readers. Some of you may be interested to know that we have attracted some interest in Fulton soccer from around the world. Some of these may simply be individuals who are travelling on business; others may be folks with a Fulton connection. At any rate, if any of our "foreign" readers would be interested in sharing their connection to Fulton soccer (or how they found us), I'm sure that their comments would be well received. Here are some of the countries where the blog's readers can be found:
Thanks to all our readers, regardless of where you are from. |
